Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Siem Reap enhance the tourism cooperation.
Working with the Management Board of the Authority for the Protection and Safeguarding of Angkor and the Region of Angkor (APSARA), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho requested APSARA to create favorable conditions for the province's travel and tourism businesses to bring tourists to the Angkor Archaeological Park as well as developing the routes linking two sides in the near future.

On the morning of May 27, the delegation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province was led by the head of the delegation Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Deputy Head of the delegation Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association, had a working session with the Management Board of APSARA National Authority on tourism development associated with relic conservation.
Receiving the delegation, Mr. Hang Peu, General Director of the Management Board of APSARA National Authority informed about the establishment and operation of the Board; tourism development associated with conservation of Angkor Archaeological Park. At the same time, he shares the experiences in tourism development, attracting international tourists, managing tourism activities and managing the population living in the relic area.
At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho said that the visit aimed to effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing friendship and cooperation between Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Siem Reap province signed in December 2022, especially developing the cooperation in tourism.
