Ba Ria - Vung Tau province welcomes more than 143,000 tourist on April 30
On April 30 - the second day of the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year, the weather continued to be hot and sunny all day, but the beaches were still crowded with people swimming, playing, and participating in activities on the beaches.
As the statistics from the Department of Tourism, on April 30, the whole province welcomed total of 143,452 tourists including 28,864 ones overnight stays and 4,447 international tourists. Total tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 163 billion VND.

Thus, the total number of tourists s to Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the first 2 days of the holiday, April 29 and 30, reached 223,615; total revenue reached more than 238 billion dong, only accommodation revenue reached 124.5 billion dong.
In which, Vung Tau city welcomes more than 120,000 tourists, accounting for nearly half of the total number of tourists in the province. The rest are distributed in other localities such as Xuyen Moc, Con Dao and Long Dien and Dat Do.
This is the holiday that Ba Ria - Vung Tau has carefully prepared, with a series of cultural, sports, entertainment events to serve residents and tourist.

Specifically, Vung Tau city organizes a day of rowing and swimming, a kite festival, and a nightly music show at the traditional house No. 1 Ba Cu attracting a large number of people and tourists to come for seeing.

The beaches are crowded with people swimming in the morning and from 16 pm when the sun fades and the weather is cooler. Especially, at the end of the afternoon, at Front Beach, Back Beach (Vung Tau City), public beaches such as Ho Tram intersection, Ho Tram sea view bridge (Xuyen Moc district), Phuoc Hai (Dat Do district) and Check-in points near the sea are crowded with tourists and locals walking, sightseeing, taking photos.
However, for accommodation rooms, the occupancy rate is only about 70-85%. Some beachfront accommodation facilities have increased occupancy by 10 to 15% compared to the first day of the holiday. Businesses expect that on May 1, Ba Ria-Vung Tau will welcome a larger number of new tourists.
The security situation was stable in the first 2 days of the holiday. Localities with a large number of tourists have not yet received any complaints from tourists. On April 30, at the end of the afternoon, seaweed drifted into the beaches quite a lot. The functional forces of Vung Tau City quickly came out to clean up the beach for tourists to swim.
